Overview Domain Names

Host names are basically the most common types of domain. They can offer a lot more names that are easy to remember, which might compensate for the confusion numeric IP addresses. They allow all Internet users can easily switch to another website that also has a different IP address.


By using special addresses in alphabetical order and not a number, these domain names make it much easier for online users to find and go to different sites, and other services that are based on the server.
